1. Program Name & Description
The Connected AZ SMS Services program is the way Connected AZ uses SMS (text messages) to communicate with prospective clients, active clients, and people who reach out to us. The program supports:
- Service and support conversations — responding to questions, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating service calls.
- Scheduling and coordination — confirming appointments, on-the-way notifications, and reschedule requests.
- Quote and project updates — letting you know when a quote is ready to review, a project milestone is reached, or a change order needs sign-off.
- Billing notifications — invoice issued, payment received, autopay charged, payment failed.
- Account and security notifications — portal invite links, password resets, and account-change confirmations.
We do not use this program for marketing, sales blasts, promotional offers, or any unsolicited outreach. If you receive a text from Connected AZ, it's about something you've already engaged with us about.
2. How You Opt In
You opt in to receive SMS from Connected AZ in one of these ways:
- Submitting a contact, quote-request, or support form on connectedaz.com with your mobile number.
- Giving us your mobile number during a phone call, in-person consultation, or by replying to a quote / invoice email with your number.
- Enabling SMS in your Connected AZ client portal profile.
- Texting us first at our published business number.
In every case, sharing your mobile number with us is voluntary. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of doing business with Connected AZ — you can keep all communication on email or phone calls if you prefer.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. We text on a message-by-message basis — only when there's something to tell you about (a service update, a question reply, an invoice issued, an appointment reminder, etc.). There is no recurring blast schedule, drip campaign, or fixed cadence. During an active project or open service ticket you may exchange several messages per day; during a quiet period you may go weeks or months without one.
4. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Connected AZ does not charge you a fee for sending or receiving texts as part of the Connected AZ SMS Services program, but the standard message and data rates charged by your mobile carrier may apply depending on your wireless plan. If you're unsure whether SMS messages count against your plan's allowance, check with your carrier before opting in.
5. Opting Out — Reply STOP
You can opt out of the Connected AZ SMS Services program at any time. To opt out, reply STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message acknowledging that you've been unsubscribed, and we will not send you further SMS messages. The keywords STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, and QUIT all work.
Opting out of SMS does not close your account or end any ongoing project. We'll continue to communicate with you by email or phone instead. If you want to re-enable SMS later, text us again from the same number or ask your account contact to turn it back on.
6. Getting Help — Reply HELP
At any time, reply HELP to any message you receive from Connected AZ to get instructions on how to use the program and how to contact us. You can also email info@connectedaz.com or call (520) 214-9496 for support.
7. Supported Carriers
The Connected AZ SMS Services program is compatible with the major US carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile, Cricket, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
Phone numbers shared with the Connected AZ SMS Services program are used only to send the messages described above. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. The only third party that touches your number is our SMS carrier (Twilio), which transmits the messages on our behalf and is contractually limited to that purpose. 9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. If we make a material change to how the program works, we'll update this page and revise the effective date at the top. Continued use of the program after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you don't, you can opt out by replying STOP.
